Pre-order - 1/2 Hog DEPOSIT

For a whole hog weighing the average 250 - 300 lbs., the hanging weight yield is typically around 150 - 200 lbs.  

So, a half hog, hanging weight will typically be 75 -100 lbs.  Your final yield will be determined as you select cuts with the butcher.

You need 3 to 4 cubic feet for storing a cut and packed half pig - allow more space if there are larger/ odd shaped cuts like bone-in roasts. Whole pigs will need 6 to 8 cubic feet. 

All of our hogs are processed at Miller's Meat Market, 6525 Number 4 Road, Lowville, NY 13367.  The buyer is responsible for choosing meat cuts with Miller's and paying their processing fee.  You can coordinate pick-up of your meat with Miller's.  Miller's Pork Custom Cuts

Buyer is responsible to pay the hanging weight of the hog at the time of processing, less this deposit.   If the buyer does not complete the purchase, this deposit is non-refundable.

Deposits for hogs are cataloged in the order they are received.  In the unlikely event that something should happen to one of our hogs, we may need to cancel the last order received.  In that event, you will receive a full refund of your deposit, along with a Cowboy Joe's gift basket and our apologies.
